Codexilab ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information in the Nafs Guard mobile application.

1. Information Collection and Use

Nafs Guard is designed with a strict privacy-first architecture. We do not collect, store, transmit, or share any of your personal data. All processing is performed strictly locally on your Android device.

A. Location Data

- Purpose: We require location permissions (GPS/Network) to dynamically calculate accurate Islamic prayer (Salat) timings based on your current geographic coordinates.

- Storage: Your location coordinates are processed in-memory locally on your device to fetch prayer timetables. This data is never saved, logged, or sent to any server.

B. VPN Service (VPNService)

- Purpose: Nafs Guard uses Android's VPNService to route your device's DNS queries to safe, clean DNS servers during designated prayer windows to block distracting or explicit web content.

- Data Handling: All DNS filtering happens entirely locally on your device. We do not redirect, intercept, decrypt, inspect, or log your internet traffic. No web traffic data is sent to external servers or third parties.

C. Read Phone State

- Purpose: We request access to detect incoming phone call states (ringing/active).

- Usage: This is used locally to temporarily minimize or collapse the Salat lock screen overlay during emergency incoming calls, allowing you to answer the call. Call logs, phone numbers, and call audio are never accessed or collected.

D. Do Not Disturb (DND) Access

- Purpose: Allows the app to mute incoming ringing calls and notifications during prayer times. No notifications or messages are read or stored.

2. Third-Party Services

Nafs Guard does not utilize any third-party advertising SDKs, analytics tracking (such as Google Analytics or Firebase), or external tracking tools. The app is completely free of ads and tracking scripts.

3. Data Security

Because Nafs Guard does not collect or store any personal data, there is no risk of data breaches, database leaks, or third-party tracking. Your data never leaves your device.

4. Children’s Privacy

Our services do not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children, as we do not collect any data from any user.
